Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant (PJSC NCCP) is one of the world's leading producers of nuclear fuel for nuclear power plants and research reactors in Russia and abroad. The plant's activities also include production of lithium metal and lithium-based compounds. It is part of the structure of Rosatom's Fuel Company TVEL.
The enterprise specializes in fabrication of fuel cassettes for VVER-1000 and VVER-1200 power reactors of Russian design, as well as for PWR power units, which are actively operated abroad. Fuel for research reactors produced at the plant is used in nuclear research centers around the world. It is necessary for conducting experiments in nuclear physics, radiation materials science and biology, radiation therapy, production of radioisotopes for medical and industrial purposes.
PJSC NCCP's lithium products are widely used in the production of lithium-ion batteries, used in the metallurgy of light alloys, at organic synthesis plants and in nuclear power engineering. Lithium-7 produced at the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant covers about 70% of global consumption of this product.
