«NCCP» PJSC manufactures fuel assemblies for nuclear power plants with VVER-1000, VVER1200, and PWR power reactors. The technological cycle of FA manufacturing includes the fabrication of uranium dioxide powder and fuel pellets, charging and sealing of fuel elements (fuel rods), manufacture of components, and final assembling of FAs.

The nuclear fuel produced by «NCCP» PJSC for research reactors provides solutions to a number of fundamental and applied scientific and technical problems and is used in Russian and Western-type reactors located in the largest scientific centers of Russia, a number of countries in Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. Since the start of this production, the company has mastered the technology of manufacturing more than 56 variants of fuel assemblies for research nuclear reactors of the pool and channel type.

«Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant» PJSC is a Russian manufacturer of high-purity lithium products. The company supplies lithium both to the domestic market and abroad. The main competitive advantage of the lithium products of the plant is its chemical purity, since the most fully useful properties of lithium are obtained under the condition of its maximum purification from accompanying natural and industrial impurities.

FUEL FOR NPP

At «NCCP»PJSC, five main variants of fuel assemblies for VVER-1000 and VVER-1200 reactors are manufactured. All types of fuel assemblies have a hexagonal cross-section and differ in various structural designs of the components and the structure of the frame. In addition, the company participates in the development of a Russian fuel design for Western PWR reactors, a foreign product similar to the domestic VVER-1000 reactor, which has 17x17 rows of fuel rods 12 and 14 feet high.

«Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant» PJSC produces all variants of nuclear fuel for research reactors of both Russian and Western design.The following can be used as a fuel composition: Uranium dioxide with a concentration of uranium up to 4.0 g/cm3 Silicide with a concentration of uranium up to 4.8 g/cm3 Designs and manufacturing technologies for high density nuclear fuel based on uranium molybdenum alloys are being developed, allowing obtaining the uranium concentration in fuel rods over 5 g/cm3.

Chemical and metallurgical conversion of uranium compounds by «Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant» PJSC includes conversion of uranium hexafluoride, extraction purification of uranium-containing mixtures from impurities, production of uranium oxide (U3O8), uranium dioxide (UO2), uranium metal (U), and its alloys (UX). «NCCP» PJSC uses chemical technologies that allow for variable enrichment and control of the chemical composition of impurities of manufactured uranium products.
LITHIUM AND COMPOUNDS

«Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant» PJSC produces lithium metal of high purity. The plant produces any lithium salts and compounds. The main product line includes: lithium chloride (LiCl), lithium hydride (LiH), lithium carbonate (Li2CO3). It is possible to fabricate metals in various forms in accordance with customer requirements – tablets, rods, wire, ingots, or plates.

NCCP fabricates Lithium-7 with the atomic isotope fraction of at least 99.9% in the form of monohydrate hydroxide. This product is used in nuclear power engineering as an additive to the coolant of the primary circuit of PWR reactors to adjust the water-chemistry conditions, as well as in the production of chemical reagents for nuclear power as main components in preparation of ion exchange nuclear membranes, which are the part of the equipment for water treatment of PWR reactors coolant.
